Late night election results on August 2nd brought victory and energy to Mindie Wirth’s campaign for State Senate.
“I’m very excited about the road ahead,” said Wirth. “I’m honored to advance through to the general election, and my team is ready to tackle the hard work in front of us.”
Initial returns showed Mindie in the lead with 40.46% of the vote, with her two democrat rivals in a virtual tie at 29.89% vs 29.65%. Only 35 votes separated the two at press time.
Wirth says her plan moving forward won’t change based on her opponent. “It doesn’t matter. My message remains the same: I want to prioritize education funding, unclog our roads, and advocate for responsible spending so families keep more of what they earn,” she said.
A graduate of Bothell High School and the University of Washington-Bothell, Mindie Wirth has deep roots in Washington and the Bothell area.
