Mindie Wirth (R-1st Legislative District) kicked off her campaign for the State Senate on Wednesday evening.
Wirth is running to prioritize school funding, address tolls and traffic congestion and reduce the tax burden on working families.

Local education leader and longtime Bothell resident Mindie Wirth filed her official declaration of candidacy for the State Senate from the 1st Legislative District today.
“Voters deserve a senator who will listen and take action on the issues that will help them in their daily lives,” she said. “I’m not a career politician. I’m a Mom, an education advocate and a tech employee. My kids attend local schools and I drive on our congested roads. I understand the challenges our families face, and I know Olympia can do better.”
Wirth cited fixing the tolling I-405 mess, prioritizing education, controlling taxes and encouraging job creation as her priorities in the State Senate.Read more
